1:1 Music Therapy Services I am a board-certified music therapist in practice for over 10 years. Much of my practice is focused on hospice, end of life care, palliative care, bereavement, and grief support. I do see clients with other needs, such as chronic medical conditions, chronic pain, respiratory symptoms, anxiety, depression, and stress management. In addition to mainstream music therapy, I also practice music healing techniques from many indigenous and eastern cultures. Some interventions include:

I serve all ages from a few months old to 106 (oldest so far) with a variety of medical conditions (cancers, dementia, neuromuscular diseases, stroke, cardiovascular disease, to name a few). Many of my hospice clients are seen through Ridgeview Hospice or other organizations, but I am also available to see clients on an individual basis in a variety of care and residential settings. My general area I practice is in the western Twin Cities Metro area and rural areas west of the cities. I serve other areas for an additional fee. Group Music Therapy Services I do offer some group music therapy services on a limited basis. Groups can be adapted to meet the needs of a wide variety of ages and populations. I currently do small groups for ages ranging from preschoolers to seniors. Groups are tailored to meet the needs of participants. Groups may include combinations of singing, drumming, playing other instruments, movement, relaxation, visualization & imagery, and music listening. Large Group Therapeutic Music Performance I also do large group interactive performances and events for all ages. Groups I offer include:
I do events for hospitals, clinics, care facilities, adult daycare, child daycare, schools, conferences, adult foster care, churches, retreats, support groups and others. I also do interactive presentations.

I received my degree in music therapy from Augsburg College in Minneapolis Minnesota and conducted my clinical internship at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in Oncology, Hospice, Neurology, and Chronic Pain. I am Board Certified in Music Therapy. I have also researched the music and healing traditions of many indigenous cultures and incorporate what I have learned into my music therapy practice. |
